Review: Vanishing into the 100% Dark

Vanishing into the 100% Dark by Amber Royer was such a treat! I found the characters to be nicely developed and well-rounded, and I enjoyed them quite a bit! I also found the setting of Tokyo to be a fun and interesting addition as it really is such an adventure in itself.
Felicity Koerber, a chocolate-maker who also happens to have some coveted detective skills, is out to solve a murder to prove Chloe’s, a young podcaster that is being chaperoned by Felicity, innocence. This mixed with the shenanigans of someone who isn’t as much of a fan of Felicity as I am, further adds to this cozy mystery. As if these tidbits weren’t enough, the addition of calico cat, Honda, truly rounds out a delightful story. Honda is pretty magical if you ask me - at the very least, she is a great judge of character!
Vanishing into the 100% Dark is a wonderfully written and developed story that happens to be the 8th book in the Bean to Bar series. It stands just fine on its own, but once you delve into it, you’re going to want more adventures with Felicity & Co.! I definitely recommend this read to lovers of the cozy mystery and mysteries in general. Check it out!
